Nutrien Children’s Festival Announces In-Person and Online Dates

Following blockbuster attendance in 2022, the Nutrien Children’s Festival of Saskatchewan will once again offer an in-person festival alongside free virtual programming in 2023.

While the in-person festival remains the marquis annual event, continuing to offer virtual content allows the organization to provide inclusive, educational, entertaining programming that reaches children who may face barriers to attending the Saskatoon-based event.

The 2023 festival will take place June 1st – 4th in Kinsmen Park and will offer a diverse range of performances and activities for children ages 2 – 12.

Tickets are $10 for attendees aged 2 and up; children under 2 are free.

The virtual festival is suitable for children ages 2 – 12 and is completely free of charge, running on the festival’s YouTube channel.

The Nutrien Children’s Festival of Saskatchewan is an arts-based festival where our children play and learn!

Our festival enthusiastically kicks off summer in Saskatoon, introducing children to cultural events, artistic experiences, engaging activities and diverse performances created just for them.

We welcome thousands of eager children, parents, educators, and caregivers through our gates for a fun-filled four-day celebration of all things play!

The children of Saskatchewan have been enjoying our festival for 34 great years, whether that be at our festival home in Kinsmen Park, or by taking part in our free online festival.

We are proud to be an inclusive festival, offering multicultural programming that embraces all orientations and abilities. Our festival is reflective of our great community and will always promote children’s mental health while maintaining accessible programs for all children to play and learn together.
