Salazar wins Junior Lobstick

Waskesiu’s Guillermo Salazar won his second golf title of the week.

Salazar won the 2021 Coca-Cola Junior Lobstick title at the Waskesiu Golf Course on Friday, just five days after winning the Maple Leaf Junior Tour junior boys and overall championship at Elk Ridge.

Salazar defeated Saskatoon’s Chase Pochylko on the 17^th hole. Salazar was up two strokes and Pochylko conceded after getting into some tree trouble.

Jackson Wingert won the Championship Flight Consolation, beating Will Blake in the match play finals.
