More vaccine drive-thru clinic times in the Battlefords, Lloydminster, Prince Albert

The drive-thru immunization clinics in Prince Albert, the Battlefords and Lloydminster have added availability over the new week.

The Lloydminster clinic, located at the grounds of the Exhibition Association, is open May 15–16 from 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., May 17 and 19 from 9:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. and May 22 from 12:00 p.m.–7:30 p.m.

The Battlefords Clinic, located on the south side of Highway 16 East heading into Battleford, is open May 14-15, 17-18 and 22 from 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Two new dates have been added for the Prince Albert Drive-Thru Clinic, located at #1 Pine Street off HWY 2 with access on Central Ave. The site will be open on May 21–22 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Availability will be on a first come, first served basis until supply runs out. Recipients are encouraged to cancel their booked appointments if they choose to attend a drive-thru clinic.

Starting May 16, vaccine eligibility moves to 20 years of age and older at all booked appointments and drive-thru clinics. Pharmacies in the Battlefords still have left over vaccine supply to use prior to Monday evening.

As of May 14, there are more than 550,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine adminstered across the province. Total positive cases are over 44,100, and, as of May 14, there has been 2,100 active cases, 515 deaths and more than 41,500 recoveries.
