Titans get their first 10-win season with nine games left
Saturday’s 3-2 road win over the Carrot River Outback Thunder gave the Prince Albert Titans their 10th win, the first time ever the Titans have earned double-digit wins in Prairie Junior Hockey League action. And there’s still nine game remaining in the season as well.
In their last year playing as the Prince Albert Icehawks back in the 2016-17 season, they earned 13 wins. That was the last time the franchise registered double-digit wins, until Saturday’s victory.
Titans goaltender Carson Schewaga made 41 saves on 43 shots as he stole the show in Carrot River.
Ben Zultok had the game winner six minutes into the third period. Scott Tillmanns and Dillan Saworski also scored for the Titans.
