19-year-old man shot at Prince Albert home, police investigating

For the second time in less than three days, the Prince Albert police service is investigating a shooting.

A 19-year-old man was rushed to hospital early Sunday morning with a gunshot wound. He was found at a residence in the 900 block of 28th St. E.

Dusty Keenatch, 21, was arrested and faces a number of weapons related charges.

Last Thursday night a man was shot at the Midtown Apartments building on 12th St. E. Police have not provided any further details and it’s unknown if the two incidents are related.

Couple commits indecent act on the riverbank

Prince Albert police have also confirmed that two people have been arrested in connection to an incident Saturday afternoon on the riverbank.

Around 3 p.m., officers were dispatched near Central Avenue and River Street, for a complaint of an indecent act.

The two people, who were observed were arrested at the scene. No other details are being provided.
