Trent James Ferris, 29, listed on the “Most Wanted” section of the Prince Albert police’s website for fraud, possession of stolen property and failing to attend court, was arrested after a deadly crash on Edmonton’s Whitemud Dr. According to Edmonton Police, a stolen vehicle collided with a truck Tuesday night while fleeing from police. The male driver of the truck was killed, and a female passenger later succumbed to her injuries in hospital.

Ferris, allegedly one of the occupants of the stolen vehicle, was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000 and assaulting a peace officer. Also charged were 27-year-old Alisha Grace Roode and the alleged driver of the stolen vehicle, 32-year-old Zachary James Grogan. Grogran faces two counts of dangerous driving causing death, along with two counts each of failing to stop at the scene of a fatal accident and flight from a peace officer causing death.

Edmonton police said they are working to identify and arrest a fourth male suspect who allegedly fled from the stolen vehicle immediately after the crash.
