Lake Country Co-op Leisure Centre on track to host 400,000 visitors in first year of operations
By any measure, the first year of operation for the Lake Country Co-op Leisure Centre has been a success as the building closes in on 400,000 visitors.
To celebrate that success and its first full year of operation, the city will host a public $5 swim on Sept. 5.
Numbers show 397,000 visitors have used the facility since it opened.
“The first year of operation has exceeded expectations,” said Jody Boulet, director of parks, recreation and culture, in a news release.
