Chris Getzlaf returns to Riders’ practice roster

The Roughriders are welcoming back a hometown boy, adding wide receiver Chris Getzlaf to the practice roster.

The Canadian wide receiver spent the majority of his CFL career with the Riders, originally signing with the team’s practice roster in 2007.

Stopping Harris and the run key for Riders against Redblacks

When the Roughriders squeaked by the Redblacks two weeks ago, they did it without Ottawa’s starting quarterback Trevor Harris.

That won’t be the case this time, as Harris returned from his shoulder injury last week and put together a win against the B.C. Lions.

TORONTO — Tyler Crapigna’s 18-yard field goal with seven seconds remaining earned the Saskatchewan Roughriders a hard-fought 27-24 win over the Toronto Argonauts on Saturday night.

Riders need to stop the run to beat the Argos

Over the last three games, the Roughriders defence has allowed a whopping 339 yards rushing.

And over the last three games, Toronto Argonauts running back James Wilder Jr. has rushed for 380.

Roughriders storm back from 17-point deficit to down Redblacks 18-17

Josh Bartel kicked a 41-yard punt single with just over two minutes to play as the Saskatchewan Roughriders rallied past the Ottawa Redblacks 18-17 on Friday.

Bartel’s game-winning point completed an 18-point comeback by Saskatchewan.

Inexperienced Redblack QB doesn't mean easy win for Riders
