The mayor of Prince Albert can't say if he's falling foul of the city's unsightly premises bylaw, but suggests criticism about a piece of land he is leasing on 15th St. is politically motivated.

Anyone planning a summer vacation to Candle Lake may want to keep an eye out for bears.

The resort village has received numerous calls of bear sightings and interactions in residential and camping areas the last few weeks.

Derailment site cleared but heavy rain sees further suspension of service

VIA rail says the site of the derailment north of Hudson Bay last week is cleared and repaired, although their service through north central Manitoba remains suspended due to heavy rains elsewhere.
