Raiders vs Moose Jaw Warriors
Prince Albert SK- For the 2nd time in as many games the Prince Albert Raiders lose in a shoot out; this time to the Moose Jaw Warriors, 5-4.
The Raiders got down early in the first period after a Dylan Mcllrath point shot found the back of the net. The Raiders would respond and capitalize on the power play at 8:18 of the first to tie the game at 1. Igor Revenko was able to capitalize on a broken play that he started in the corner after the bouncing puck was poke check to the front of the net by goal tender Thomas Heemskerk. The puck landed right on the stick of Revenko who made no mistake putting it in the open net.
It was the Raiders who would strike again late in the period as Jonathan Parker got his 10th of the season. Parker picked up the loose puck behind the net and beat Heemskerk on the wrap around to put the Raiders up 2-1 heading into the 2nd.
The Raiders would increase their lead by 2 when Sebastian Svendsen drilled a one timer past Heemskerk from the hash marks.
