Tucker back Morrissey returns
Two members of the Prince Albert Raiders roster are set to return to action for the final two weeks of the Raiders 2010-11 WHL regular season. Goaltender Jamie Tucker has been cleared to return from injury and 15 year old defenceman Josh Morrissey has been recalled after his AAA Midget season came to an end on Thursday March 3rd.
19 year old Jamie Tucker has been cleared by medical staff to return to action after missing the past 11 games with a thumb laceration that he sustained in a 5-4 loss against the Pats in Regina on February 5th. His return is quicker than anticipated as the injury was initially thought to potentially be a season ending one for the 19 year old net minder. Tucker is 10-18-1-2 with a 0.885 save percentage and a 4.00 GAA in his 35 appearances this season.
16 year old goaltender Brenden Fiebelkorn has been re-assigned to the Winnipeg Hawks of the Winnipeg Midget AAA Hockey League. Fiebelkorn has dressed in the past 11 games and saw one period of action during his stint with the Raiders. He appeared on Friday March 4th against the Moose Jaw Warriors when he replaced starting goaltender Eric Williams for the third period and stopped all 14 shots he faced in his WHL debut.
15 year old defenceman Josh Morrissey has been recalled from the Calgary AAA Midget Royals of the Alberta Midget Hockey League and will remain with the Raiders for the duration of the season.
