High Noon Optimists Make Donations

President Scott Hurl, HN Optimist Club, recently made several donations to local organizations to assist in their youth programs.

S.Sgt Dave Schluff of the PA Police Service, Chairperson for the ‘River Runners’ summer 2015 canoe / outdoor experience was provided $2000. to assist in expenses.

President Tom Michaud and executive member Mark Boden received $2000. on behalf of the ‘Sharks’ swim club for Club programs.

Several other community, youth oriented organizations also received funding to assist in helping meet their needs. Included is this weekend’s Pine Needle Mountain Bike & Music fest in support of Little Red River Park.
