Cause of mill worker’s death remains unknown

Almost one week after a fatal accident at the Big River lumber mill, there are no clear answers as to what exactly happened.

A spokesperson for Occupational Health and Safety said the investigation could take three to six months.

A 31-year-old man was injured last Tuesday Sept. 8., while doing some equipment maintenance work.  He died before paramedics arrived.

RCMP have not released the man’s name.
