34th Class of the PASHOF inducted during Saturday ceremony
The Prince Albert Sports Hall of Fame (PASHOF) gained eight members during its annual induction banquet on Saturday night.
Family, friends, local dignitaries, and supporters packed into the Ches Leach Lounge at the Art Hauser Centre to watch the Class of 2026 be welcomed into the Hall, which included three athletes, two builders, two for meritorious service and one team. The 2025 World Cup of Softball Host Committee was also recognized during the ceremony as the Sports Organization of the Year, which was accepted by head of the committee Ian Litzenberger.
This year’s inductees in the athlete category included storied track star Katelyn Lehner, former top international racquetballer Joel Mihilewicz, and former top NCAA volleyballer Leah (Guidinger) Tyree. The builder’s category welcomed longtime Prince Albert Mintos coach Tim Leonard and fellow longtime volleyball and basketball coach Randy Emmerson, while businessman and well-known community supporter Rusty Clunie and storied volunteer Carol Soles were inducted into the meritorious service category.
Just one team was inducted into the team category in the 34th Class, that being the Telus Cup (National Champion) winning 2013-14 Prince Albert Mintos, which was represented by then-head coach Ken Morrison and then-general manager Don Fauchoux.
