Armed with a sword and a special set of combat skills, Prince Albert’s Elizabeth Chamberlain is seeking justice for her family.

The talented actress has landed a leading role in a new fantasy/action movie titled “A Widow’s Oath.”

Directed by Chase Dudley, the film is set in the 1400’s. After a brutal public execution wipes out her family, Chamberlain’s character Abigail is left with nothing but help from a reclusive soldier and she transforms from a victim into a calculated killer.

“She’s gonna be next level for me for sure,” Chamberlain said about the role.

Acknowledging the role will be physically demanding, Chamberlain explained she will be spending the next year training. Part of the reason Chamberlain was chosen for the role is she already has a background in fencing (PA Northern Knights) and martial arts (kickboxing and jiu-jitsu at North Wake Martial Arts).

“I’m definitely going to hone in and direct my training for this project,” she said.

Chamberlain is no stranger to strong female characters and has also been asked to play physical roles in some of her movies including Cursed Waters, Alien Hourde and Holmgang.

“I think what strikes people about me is how tall I am, and I am very physically fit. I’ve never had a sedentary lifestyle. I like adventure, I like action, you know, I go out there and I grab the world and I just go hard all the time,” she said.

According to a social media post by Director Chase Dudley, he was impressed by Chamberlain’s extensive specialized training in weaponry. And citing a conversation he had with her at a convention in Las Vegas last January, he said he is excited to see her bring this character to life.

“He was so nice and he’s been so respectful to me,” Chamberlain said about Dudley, adding she has great respect for his passion for movie-making.

“The vibes were just so good between us, we couldn’t not work together.”

Filming is expected to start next spring.
