Planned power outage at Victoria Hospital Monday night

There will be a planned power outage at the Victoria Hospital Monday night.

The outage, scheduled for 8 p.m. to midnight, is being used to help to complete repairs to the essential power supply at the facility.

Emergency surgical patients and those requiring a CT scan may require a transfer to another hospital as the Victoria Hospital Operating Room and CT scanner will not be available during the power outage.

Physicians and ambulance operators will determine if an ambulances will bypass Victoria Hospital, or if a transfer is required.
