Get Winter Ready

While it’s been a mild November, Parkland Ambulance has some tips before the snow, ice, and slippery road conditions occur.

Parkland suggests having the following items.

·        Winter tires

·        Ice scraper or snow brush

·        Extra blankets and your winter safety kit stowed securely in the vehicle

·        Plan ahead when travelling and be prepared for changing road conditions

·        A snow shovel, tow chains, flashlight and booster cables

Parkland Ambulance also suggests digging out the mittens, scarves, toques and snow boots at your house before the snow comes.
