Lawyers request more time in Spalding fatal crash case

Nov 17, 2015 | 11:28 AM

There is still no plea from a man facing charges in connection to a fatal crash that claimed the lives of three teenage boys last spring.

Normand Lavoie, 38, was not present when the case came up Tuesday morning at Melfort Provincial Court.

Lavoie is the driver being held responsible for the deadly crash which happened in May 2015, near Spalding.

Three high school boys from Carrot River, on their way from a football training camp, were in a car stopped at a construction zone.  A semi heading north hit the car from behind.
