P.A. brunch celebrates local businesses

Laughter and clapping filled the room during Thursday’s Prince Albert and District Chamber of Commerce Legacy Brunch at the Prince Albert Travelodge.

During the brunch Gene Kapacila graciously accepted the Prince Albert and District Chamber of Commerce 2014 Legacy Award and spoke about his experience both living and working in Prince Albert.

Kapacila is the owner of Gene’s Sports Excellence, a family-business which has been serving Prince Albert residents for more than 40 years.

Finalists of the Samuel McLeod Business Awards also received honorary plaques before their awards ceremony on April 23 at the Prince Albert Travelodge.
