Tanisha Linklater’s luck started with winning $10,000 on when she scratched her THE BIG SPIN ticket that included an in-person date with the prize wheel.

“When I saw the [the initial] $10,000, I was in total shock,” Linklater said at the initial prize claim interview. “I [couldn’t] believe it was real – I was shocked, and I kept saying, ‘OMG!’”

“I was trying to breathe afterwards, and I immediately called my sister [to share the good news],” she continued. “It’s super surreal that it’s really mine – I have never won anything this big before!”

When she spun the wheel in front of friends and family, Linklater was even happier when it landed on the $100,000 slot.

She plans share the money with her family.

“I’m going to be able to pay off my car and go on a nice trip with my kids – really have a good Christmas,” Linklater said. “I want to save some as well!”

She bought her ticket at the Petro Canada on Second Avenue West.

THE BIG SPIN works by giving winners money on the scratch portion but tells them they’ve won a chance to spin the wheel when they check their tickets at retailer.
