Prince Albert police investigating shooting at East Flat home

The Prince Albert Police Service is confirming no one was injured as a result of a shooting Thursday night in the city’s East Flat area.

At approximately 9:06 p.m, officers responded to the 900 Block of first St. E. for a weapons complaint.

Police located evidence of gun shots being fired at a home. There was damage to the residence as well as a parked unoccupied vehicle.

A neighbour who lives in the area told paNOW he heard several “popping” sounds.

The Prince Albert Police Service continues to investigate this incident and are asking the public to contact police if they heard or witnessed anything suspicious in the area.
