Hague company fined after worker injured on job
A company based in the town of Hague has been fined $90,000 after a worker was seriously injured after falling off a work platform.
King Stud Contracting Ltd. pled guilty in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Dec. 8 to one count of violating ‘The Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, 1996.’
The company was facing four other charges; however, each was stayed.
The employee who was injured was working in Saskatoon on Feb. 19, 2021, when they fell off the platform.
