Canada-wide warrant out for Deschambault Lake man

Deschambault Lake RCMP is asking for help in finding 29-year-old Julius Austin Ballantyne.

There is a Canada-wide warrant out for Ballantyne’s arrest after he removed an electronic monitoring device, violating a condition of his statutory release.

Ballantyne is 5’3” tall, approximately 200 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes. He may have a beard or may have shaved it off.

Police said Ballantyne could be in the Deschambault Lake or Prince Albert areas, but this is not confirmed.

Julius Ballantyne should not be approached. If you have information on his whereabouts, please contact your nearest police service or RCMP Detachment, call 911 in an emergency or call Crime Stoppers and be eligible for a reward of up to $2000.00 by calling 1-800-222-8477.
