Artisan Parade for Melfort

May 12, 2021 | 10:48 AM

Last year on Canada Day, there was a wonderful Quilt Parade.

People who had made quilts, and people who had been gifted quilts displayed them in their yard, hung them over balconies, etc. and there were all sorts of creative displays.

A Parade map was created, and people were invited to tour the designated displays. Some display hosts were outside, others chose to remain inside.

It was a wonderful day, lots of visiting and everyone enjoyed seeing the amazing, quilted works.

It was decided this should be an annual event, and expanded to include all forms of art.
