Two killed after truck left grid road near Elfros

Two people are dead after their pickup left a grid road and ended up in water southeast of Elfros.

Wynyard RCMP were called Sunday about a vehicle discovered in a body of water.

Two of the vehicle’s passengers were able to exit the vehicle and did not report physical injuries.

Officers were unable to find the driver and the third passenger, and both were discovered the following day by the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team.
