Sep 28, 2026 | 12:06 PM

Lake Country Co-op has received provincial recognition as a business leader.

The Prince Albert-based company won the marketing award at the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce’s 2026 Achievement of Business Excellence Awards gala. The event was held Saturday night at TCU Place in Saskatoon.

“Winning the ABEX Award for marketing is incredibly meaningful to me, both personally and professionally,” said Brittney Rosenberg, director of marketing and community relations.

“At Lake Country Co-op, marketing is about so much more than promoting our products and services. It’s about telling the stories of our people, celebrating our communities and showcasing the impact our co-op has.”

Rosenberg added she is incredibly proud of the talented marketing team she has the privilege of leading and the creativity, passion and dedication they bring to everything they do.

“To have our work recognized on a provincial stage, alongside so many incredible Saskatchewan businesses, is truly an honour. This award is a reflection of our entire team and my colleagues who help bring our ideas to life every day. It’s especially rewarding to see that the work we do to connect with our members and communities is making an impact.”

This year’s awards theme, “Luminary: For Those Who Light the Way,” honoured the businesses and leaders whose vision, leadership and influence help shape what’s next for Saskatchewan.

Saskatoon Fire & Flood received the evening’s top honour, business of the year, as well as the service award and the inaugural workplace excellence award.

“Each year, the ABEX Awards give us the opportunity to recognize the businesses making an impact across Saskatchewan,” Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce CEO Prabha Ramaswamy said. “This year’s recipients reflect the ambition, innovation and courage that continue to move our province forward.
