35-year-old prisoner dies at Sask Pen.

A 35-year-old inmate of the Saskatchewan Penitentiary in Prince Albert died on June 11, while still in custody, said the Corrections Service of Canada.

His identity can’t be revealed because of a court-ordered publication ban to protect the identity of the victim(s).

He was serving a sentence of eight years and four months that started on July 26, 2019.

The inmate’s next of kin have been notified.
