RCMP identify human remains found in house fire near Meadow Lake

Meadow Lake RCMP have identified the human remains found after a house fire.

Last week, fire crews put out a fire at a home 45 kilometres southeast of Meadow Lake. The body was found during the subsequent investigation.

They’ve since been identified as belonging to an adult woman. Her family has since been notified.

RCMP say her death and the cause of the fire are not considered suspicious at this time.
