Fourth person charged in murder of Byron Bear

Prince Albert Police Service have charged a 31-year-old man from Prince Albert with second-degree murder in the murder of Byron Bear.

Police arrested Daniel Dustin Oliver Thursday morning at a residence in the 1700 Block of 15th Street West.

This is the fourth person arrested and charged in Bear’s murder, including Kyle Angus Burns and a 30-year-old man who cannot be identified. Officers with the Prince Albert Police Service’s Criminal Investigation Division continue to investigate.

Oliver made his first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court on March 4, and was remanded to March 25, to provide time to find legal counsel.

Byron Bear is the victim of a homicide stemming from police responding to a call on December 6, 2021 in the 300 Block of 9 th street East.

Raine Farrow, a co-accused in the case, was spoken to Thursday at the Prince Albert Provincial Court with his case being adjourned to March 18.
