Prince Albert police say a third person has been arrested in connection to the murder of Byron Bear.

A 30-year-old man who can not be named until he makes his first court appearance was arrested by police on Wednesday in Canmore. This marks the third arrest made in a week in connection with the murder.

He will make his first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Feb. 22.

The Criminal Investigation Division continue to investigate and police would like to thank Canmore RCMP for their help.

Two other men Raine Farrow and Kyle Burns have also been arrested.

On Dec. 6 police were called to a property on 9 Street near 3 Ave. East where a serious assault took place. Bear was reported missing the following day and his remains were found by police on Feb. 10 near Hague.
