St. Michael School moves to remote learning due to COVID-19 exposure

Dec 10, 2020 | 5:05 PM

On Thursday evening, the Prince Albert Catholic School Division announced that St. Michael Community School will move to remote learning after two COVID-19 cases in the school were confirmed.

“After consultation with Public Health Officials, all students from St. Michael Community School will move to Level 4 remote learning effective tomorrow, Friday, Dec.11, 2020,” the school division’s statement read.

There will not be any in-person classes at the school until Jan. 4, 2021, barring any other cases.

All other students and staff of St. Michael will have to self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms daily.

This announcement comes after the Prince Albert Catholic School Division and Saskatchewan Rivers Public School Division said on Tuesday that all high schools would move to remote learning effective Jan. 4-15.
