13-year-old in custody after string of B&E’s in La Ronge

La Ronge RCMP have arrested a 13-year-old boy from Hall Lake in connection with a number of break and enters over the weekend.

Starting November 13, complaints of residential break and enters began to roll in around La Ronge.

Several items were stolen from each home and considerable damage was caused to many. 

A vehicle was also stolen from a residence.

The youth in custody has been remanded and had his first court appearance at the La Ronge Provincial Court Nov. 16.

Police are still looking for several other suspects believed to be involved in the crimes.

Due to provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, the name of the youth cannot be released by police.
