Accused purse snatcher denied bail

A man from Dalmeny, accused of stealing purses in Saskatoon, Rosthern, and Prince Albert will remain behind bars for at least two more weeks.

Jessie Gaida, 30, made a brief court appearance Tuesday afternoon at Prince Albert Provincial Court.  He has been remanded until his next court appearance April 13.

The purse snatchings took place between Jan. 30 and March 13th. 

Gaida has also been charged in connection to an attempted robbery in Prince Albert.
