Melfort banks big win at Hoopla

The Melfort Comets are Provincial champions.

The boys picked up the gold in the 4A category of the Hoopla tournament on Saturday in Saskatoon, after defeating Meadow Lake 73-65.

The Senior Boys team from St. Brieux is also celebrating. They finisher first in the Boys 2A category after beating Saskatoon Ecole Canadienne 95-76.

Teams from Birch Hills, Meath Park and Kinistino tried hard, but were not able to win in their bronze medals games on Saturday.
