April is Autism Awareness Month

April is Autism Awareness Month- Please wear BLUE on APRIL 2nd for Autism Day.

Our next Autism workshop will be held on pril 8th,A 2015 at 9:00 A.M. The topic will be Autism: Everything You Wanted To Know But Were Afraid To Ask.

Autism affects 1 in every 68 children in North America and 1:42 boys.  Come learn about Strengths & challenges, behavioral challenges, strategies for communication, socialization, and learning, and the things you can do to help.

This workshop is free.  Anyone is welcome.   No need to register, just show up!

 Free coffee / tea & snacks provided. The workshop will be held in the Victoria Square Education room  (building East of the hospital).  Free parking is available.

*Free movie  “Temple Grandin”  on April 2, 2015  at 6:30 pm held at the John M. Cuelenaere Public Library Auditorium.

Staff from Autism Services will be in attendance to answer questions.
