Kiwanis Club of Prince Albert Celebrates 90 Years

Some of the current projects include the Kiwanis Music Festival, Kiwanis Christmas Cakes, the Kyla Art Show, Come Grow with Us (a youth gardening program), along with many scholarship programs for local high schools.

Some of the major projects the club has help put together in the city include the Alfred Jenkins Centre, the Skateboard Park, Hal Fraser Trail, and the Ingoldsby Kiwanis Home.

The latest project the club is raising funds for is the Eliminate Project, which is a global campaign for children to help eliminate maternal/neonatal tetanus.

The Kiwanis Club is an international service and open to men and women who are interested in fellowship and helping support local communities and focuses on youth projects.

Around the world there are nearly one million Kiwanis members and their slogan is “Serving the Children of the World.”

The Kiwanis Club of Prince Albert meets each Tuesday at 12 p.m. at the Travelodge.

Guest speakers and new members are always welcome.
