Raiders fall to Saskatoon Blades
The Prince Albert Raiders got themselves into penalty trouble early in the first and second periods and the Saskatoon Blades made them pay. They went two for three in the first two periods and three for five overall. That was much of the difference in a 7-2 win over the Raiders at Credit Union Center in Saskatoon. They poured 43 shots on goal on Eric Williams. Steven Stanford, the former raider, faced 27.
Prince Albert goal getters on the night include Igor Revenkowith an unassisted power play goal. It was his 18th of the year. Todd Fiddlerscored his 17th to close out the hockey game. The final score from Saskatoon saw the Raiders fall 7-2. They now prepare to host the Calgary Hitmen on Tuesday.
