Man dead after single vehicle rollover east of Balcarres

A man is dead after a single vehicle rollover nine kilometres east of Balcarres Saturday morning.

It happened just after 3:30 a.m. on Highway 10.

Mounties say the vehicle carrying three people was heading eastbound when it lost control, hit the ditch and rolled onto its side.

A 33-year-old man was taken to hospital in Fort Qu'Appelle but died of his injuries before he got there. The other two people were taken to hospital in Balcarres as a precaution, but have been since released.

The man's name is not be released while RCMP contact his family.
