Fire at body shop

Things are settling down at a body shop south of Prince Albert on Highway 2.

Ace of Diamonds Paint & Body caught fire at about 11:30 p.m. on Friday. It took crews nearly 12 hours to get the flare-ups under control.

RCMP were providing traffic control while the Prince Albert Fire Department worked on extinguishing the blaze.

The single road that was closed is reopened.

RCMP are reporting no injuries and there is no danger to surrounding businesses.

The cause of the fire is still unknown. Further Investigation is planned for once the the scene is considered safe.
