Woman charged with hit-and-run makes brief court appearance

The woman charged in a fatal Prince Albert hit-and-run made her second court appearance today, and it was a short one.
Danielle Chamakese, 19-years-old from Pelican Lake, allegedly hit and killed 21-year-old Daniel Carter of Prince Albert with her car on Sept. 19 when leaving Stavros Lounge on 2nd Avenue.
She is charged with criminal negligence causing death and failure to remain at the scene of an accident.
Both Chamakese's and Carter's families were in attendance.
