Saskatchewan MPs remain quiet on potash debate

Premier Brad Wall is opposed to the proposed takeover of Potash Corp and he gets the feeling that Saskatchewan conservative MP's share his view.

However, there's no confirmation of that from the other side.

Tom Lukiwski, like Brad Trost did Tuesday, said the Investment Canada Act doesn’t permit him to say anything.

Prince Albert MP Randy Hoback is also declining comment.

Saskatchewan’s lone Liberal MP Ralph Goodale said that justification is nothing more than an excuse.

He says either the conservatives don't want their personal opinions known or they were explicitly told by the Prime Minister to stay quiet.
