Prince Albert receives a chilly blast

A fresh blanket of snow is waiting for you outside this morning.

As of 4 a.m., a little more than an inch of snow had fallen in the Prince Albert area.

“We're bang on the money for first snowfall,” said Environment Canada's Albert Skiba.

Skiba said most of the snow should melt over the next couple days.

Meanwhile the Highway Hotline reporting some very poor driving conditions.

Highways 2,3, 11 and 55 are all wet and subject to freezing.

Some fog is also making visibility difficult.
