Marshall says Roughriders took the easy way out

Greg Marshall didn't hide his true feelings towards the Saskatchewan Roughriders after his dismissal.

The former head coach addressed the media just 24 hours after his firing and was understandably agitated that his first opportunity to be a head coach ended after just eight games.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders fired head coach Greg Marshall and offensive co-ordinator Doug Berry.

It was Brendan Taman, the general manager, made the announcement and broke the news to Marshall and Berry.

With a name like “Blayz,” it should be no surprise that he’s fast.

But that skill and passion for speed doesn’t just belong to the aptly-named Blayz Verge, the 15-year-old drag racer from Prince Albert, but also to his younger sister Lexi.
