Upcoming events for the Prince Albert Seniors Advocacy Group:

Just Older Youth is a free event for Seniors.

May 3rd from 1 – 3 p.m. at Plaza 88 is Bird Identification

May 10th from 1 – 3 p.m. is Free Information Session on Occupational and Physio Therapies.

There will also be information sessions being offered in Saskatchewan in anticipation of the next NHSP Call for Proposals. The additional new  workshops are highlighted in green.
 
Through NHSP your organization may be eligible to receive a grant up to $25,000 per year.  Based on the most recent Call for Proposals, projects must be led or inspired by seniors and address one or more of the following five program objectives:
 
•promoting volunteerism among seniors and other generations;
•engaging seniors in the community through the mentoring of others;
•expanding awareness of elder abuse, including financial abuse;
•supporting the social participation and inclusion of seniors; and
•providing capital assistance for new and existing community projects and/or programs for seniors.
