Rotary Trail Update

Jan 7, 2011 | 5:37 PM

The Rotary Trail, Prince Albert's Multi-Use Receational Trail is more than half way to completion!  As a result, the completion of the 3-metre wide, 23 -kilometre trail around the city and to Little Red River Park must remain a priority.

The Rotary trail is accessible to all types of users, such as cyclists, inline skaters, wheelchair users, walkers, skateboaders, and joggers.  The trail is bi-directional and marked with orientation nodes/kiosks and signs alert users to upcoming intersections.  The trail provides enhanced recreation opportunities for everyone!  Although built in phases, the expected completion date was 2010.

The Rotary Trail is the most inclusive project we have ever had in the city of Prince Albert as it is available for everyone to use.  This has been evident by the broad financial and in kind support from the community, including service clubs, businesses, individuals and government.

The Rotary Trail Committee, seeks your continued support in ensuring the trail is completed and a reality for all citizens of Prince Albert!
