Man charged in death of Jordan Darchuk

A 22-year-old man has been charged in the death of Prince Albert’s Jordan Darchuk.

Darchuk was shot while hunting south of Weirdale on Sept. 16. Yesterday afternoon Nipawin RCMP arrested Austyn Adamko, also of Prince Albert. Adamko is charged with multiple offences including criminal negligence causing death, careless use of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle.  

Adamko appeared in Nipawin Provincial Court this morning.
