On Monday, Saskatchewan Hockey announced fall camp and final team rosters for three of their SaskFirst programs, and a pile of players with local ties were included.

The Under-18 Female Fall Camp roster included six Prince Albert Northern Bears on it—Ryan Fontaine, goalie, Hannah Koroll, defence, Abby Soyko, defence/forward, as well as forwards Miranda Heidt, Camryn Amundson and Kate Ball.

On the Under-16 Female final roster is Bears forward Jasper Desmarais, as well as newcomers Paris Oleksyn and Jesse Herner.

The Under-16 Male fall camp roster includes Prince Albert Raiders 2017 first rounder Cohner Saleski. He will join Prince Albert’s Alex Ozar, who was the first overall pick of the 2017 SJHL Draft by the La Ronge Ice Wolves and fifth round in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft to the Saskatoon Blades. P.A.’s Ethan Ironside was also included in the fall camp roster, a Kamloops Blazer draft pick in the eighth round.
