UPDATE: An ‘accident’ causes northern power outages

UPDATE: SaskPower said the power outages were due to a vehicle hitting a power poll. Power was fully restored by roughly 6:30 a.m.

SaskPower is blaming an “accident” for a power outages in northern Saskatchewan early Friday morning.
 
Emma Lake, Weyakwin, Montreal Lake, Waskesiu and La Ronge were among the communties affected at 1:30 a.m. today.
 
Power was restored to Waskesiu and Montreal Lake roughly an hour later, and scheduled to be restored to La Ronge at 6 a.m.
