Marauders prevail in Saskatoon

Two boys volleyball teams from St. Mary High School competed at the 24-team University of Saskatchewan High School Boys Volleyball Tournament in Saskatoon Sept. 23 and 24. 

The grade 12 team finished in with the gold medal defeating Swift Current 25-23, 19-25, 15-7 in the final. The grade 11 team finished in fifth place defeating Nipawin 25-17, 22-25, 15-9 in the fifth place game.

Luke Wandzura and Ryan Crawford were named as tournament All-stars and Jake Rapin was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player.
