P.A. police make arrest in city's first homicide of the year

Prince Albert Police Service have arrested the last man wanted in connection with a January homicide.

Preston Spencer Dean Bird was arrested by police at a residence in the Midtown area Friday, April 22 and charges with Second Degree Murder.

He made his first  appearance at Prince Albert Provincial Court. Monday morning. His case was adjourned to May 16, where he will appear by video.

Jonathan Lee Cowan, was shot on Jan. 9 in the 1000 block of First Ave W.

Reno Roy Keenatch, 20, is facing a charge of second degree murder and possession of a firearm while prohibited.

Tyler Thomas Pechawis, 25, is also facing a charge of second degree murder.
